DAY CARE AND PRE-SCHOOL
I am amazed that God uses ordinary people to accomplish extra ordinary things. Working with the children in the local school system for over thirty years has been a pleasure. When I had the opportunity to travel to Malawi, Africa on a mission’s trip with my Church; we ministered to the children in the village. Their hearts were so attentive to every word that I said, even with an interpreter!
There is a school in the village for older children who can walk the distance, but nothing for the children who are from four to six years of age. These Pre-schoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders are missing that crucial foundation of having a book read to them, or of even the simple pleasure of learning how to use a pencil.
Thanks to your donations, these children will attend school in an appropriate age classroom, with a first-class curriculum we hope will lead these children to future academic success.
Early childhood is the most valuable time of development in a child’s life. This time is for kids to fall in love with learning. Children at Heart, works to promote that growth mentally, physically, and spiritually!
